Cate began her career with leading youth homelessness charity Centrepoint, where she was moved and inspired by the difference the gifts she secured from charitable trusts could make to the lives of homeless young people.  Fifteen years on, she has developed extensive expertise in trusts fundraising and provides bid writing, research, strategy advice, interim management, training and mentoring support to charities and arts venues across the UK.

Cate has worked with a diverse range of causes - including animal charities, cancer support services, welfare, community facilities, arts and heritage organisations.  She has secured a good number of six figure gifts from trusts and foundations.  A mum of three, she lives with her young family in Yorkshire.
